Condensed Key Stage 3

Banbury Academy offers the full range of teaching required by the National Curriculum. At key Stage 3 (Years 7 and 8) all students cover the programme of study which prepares them for progression to GCSE, BTEC or other accredited courses at Key Stage 4 (Years 9, 10 and 11). Key Stage 4 Curriculum

Our aim at Banbury Academy is to provide all students with a broad and balanced KS4 curriculum tailored to the individual’s needs and with a range of possibilities and opportunities post-16. Since the National Curriculum continues until the end of year 11, some of what is studied at Key Stage 4 is compulsory with the remainder of the KS4 curriculum as optional. The Options Booklet

The booklet:

  • Presents to parents and students the courses available for the 13 -16 (Key Stage 4) age range
  • Explains the syllabus content, course structure and assessment for all courses
