Running challenges

Four members of our staff have recently been involved in various running challenges. Ms Welchman took part in The Enormous Elephant Run, dressed as an elephant.  With about 200 runners/joggers/walkers taking part, she helped to raise over £30,000 for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. Ms Sykes completed a 5km run in very good time (although, she thought, not as impressive as being dressed as an elephant!) and has also raised money for Smiles in aid of Oxford Children's Hospital. Mr Smith and Mr Sterland have also been donning their running kit and taking part in individual challenges. A great example to our students of the amazing achievements of our staff outside of school.
