The Story Museum in Oxford

Students in year 7 and 8 visited The Story Museum in Oxford. Joshua in year 7 said:

“One of the reasons I like the story museum is that they make rooms from people’s ideas; so if people want Doctor Who, they will make that for you.  They are not like other museums in that they want people to interact.  One of the activities was to look around for rhymes and alliteration around a bedroom – the bed was enormous, bigger than any other bed.”

Arts Awards are nationally-recognised awards which young people can gain to demonstrate how they have engaged with the arts.  To achieve their Arts Award, students participate in arts activities, experience arts events, get inspired by artists and share their arts skills with others.
